We have experienced a successful week at the Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) in San Francisco, USA.

In a joint booth with OSOP, Panama, we proudly presented gempa’s wide range of SeisComP3-based software solutions including new innovative products for local to teleseismic real-time earthquake analysis, structural health monitoring, volcano monitoring, efficient and secure real-time waveform data exchange, warning information and lots more.

This year’s product highlights included:

  • the newly developed SMP , our innovative station management portal for creating, maintaining and sharing station metadata (similar to PDCC but web-based)
  • a completely updated and re-designed SHARD, the web-based module for structural monitoring
  • a matured version of scanloc for cluster-based monitoring of local earthquakes
  • the brand new sceval for discrimination of real earthquakes from fake events
  • we have released a new version of SeisComP3 with lots of new features including spectral analysis, xml-based offline data processing and support for sensor responses in FAP tables

At AGU we joined the scientific discussion and presented results from our earthquake monitoring in N-Chile using scanloc and presented examples of SHARD in real monitoring operation .

Our popular real-time system for earthquake, tsunami and structural health monitoring was showcased in the booth where our new or experienced users received hands-on demonstrations.

We are looking forward to seeing you again at the next AGU Fall Meeting in New Orleans in 2017.
