We will demonstrate our latest developments and research for seismic and infrasound array processing based on our LAMBDA module in SeisComP at the Third European Conference on Earthquake Engineering and Seismology, Bucarest/Romania (3ECEES).
Our focus has been on detecting seismic and infrasound events by seismic arrays applying LAMBDA and SeisComP. We will present these efforts and the results from our research in our contributions.
We have been monitoring the 2021 volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland, which was preceded by an enormous seismic sequence which we have observed in all its spatio-temporal evolution:

The volcano-tectonic unrest in the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland
in 2021 and the new seismic and strong-motion arrays in Southwest Iceland,

Sadly, the war in Ukraine has given us many examples of missile attacks which we could detect from infrasound waves recorded at nearby arrays:

We will visit the conference in person hoping to meet you there. Let’s exchange ideas and experiences, establish new collaborations or initiate future projects. Contact us to make an appointment.
